Stuffing

more dirt

I noticed as I cleaned the bathroom floor that there is always more dirt. First I vacuumed, then I swept it with a dustpan and brush and then I washed it with Mr Clean and every time there was more dirt! Like our lives. We might start by cleaning up the big things. But there is always more for us to clean up in our lives. Thank God for His grace!

At the end of Church I had this funny thought. You see I like watching reality tv. And it occurred to me that in a way, the Bachelor is a picture of the Church. In the show you have 25 girls pursuing 1 guy. In the Church we are all pursuing God. Now the difference is in the show only one girl wins but with God, everyone who pursues him wins! What I think is interesting is how the women treat each other. Sometimes they are catty (those are the bits that make it on tv) but I think a lot of the time they are warm, loving and supportive of the difficult situation they are all in. I hope we are warm, loving and supportive of our fellow travelers!
