curses

I read this story about the soccer player who died. The story disturbed me on a few levels. It sounds like the family had some kind of a curse against it. Jesus came to break the curses. I wish He had been invited in to break the curses for this family.
I pray that we reach out to Him to break the curses in our lives.

It's been a long and difficult year but I'm hoping that work will settle down in a couple of weeks. I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel in that respect.
I woke up on Saturday with a new feeling of freedom. But today at Church I struggled to connect with God. Usually I find this easy to do during the singing at the start, but it was difficult. The sermon was good but I was a bit distracted as I was very cold. I need warmth to function! But communion at the end- now that was the good part. It felt like God was saying- yes- that was what you needed to do. We'll wash the slate clean with the blood of Jesus and keep moving forward.
